Introduction
Student Led Movements (SLM) sees the importance of investing in the lives of students, the future leaders’ of the nation. Approximately 34,000 students are enrolled in the tertiary institutions of Namibia which gives us a unique opportunity to influence the future leaders in the making.
On the campus we are aiming to build lifelong labourers for Christ by equipping our student leaders and members in evangelism and discipleship.

Our Vision
Building spiritual movements on every campus so that every student knows another student who truly follows Jesus.
Our Scope
SLM aims to work on all the tertiary campuses of Namibia. Currently we have movements on NUST and many of the campuses of UNAM; Main, Khomasdal, Neudamm, Rundu, Katima, Ogongo and HP. SLM Namibia also seeks to be a catalyst for movements across the nations.

Our DNA
We are characterised by four ‘I’s…
International – we have movements in nearly 200 countries.
Interdenominational – we are not a church but work to help churches in the Great Commission.
Inclusive – we are open to all, our doors are not closed.
Injoyable! – we aim to be fun outside and serious inside.
The desire is to be student led and staff directed.

What We Do
With our aim to win, build and send students on campus we have various different activities to keep this as our primary focus and aid us in our mission…
Prime Times
Weekly meetings which include Bible teaching, worship, prayer, interaction with other believers. A Prime Time is the ‘shop window’ of SLM.
Action Groups
Bible-based disciple-making small groups focussed on helping students do evangelism as a way of life.
Mission Projects
Students reaching students with the gospel, locally and internationally. See ‘Stories’ to read how people have been impacted by these projects. See ‘Events’ for any up-coming mission projects.
Creative Outreach
The students engage in various outreaches in order to reach their audience. One of these methods is an ‘ATM’ (Actively Taking the Message) which helps to engage students with the gospel in a more creative way.
121s
Discipleship and one on one coaching by Campus Crusade staff and students.
Training
Great Commission Seminars and regular leadership trainings.
Special Events
We hold national conferences, gospel shows, and socials. Each year we also hold a ‘Life Vision Day’ to encourage engagement in God’s plans and purposes in particular for those approaching the end of their university career. To find out if there is a ‘Life Vision Day’ coming up soon look on our ‘Events’ page.
